Are you generating a list of customers? Email Marketing in the online marketing world this is no new thought, but in the offline business world it may be. How nice would it be to email a big list of previous customers to tell them about a special you are having or an upcoming event?
Well why don’t you?! A friend of mine is building a list with his storefront by putting a mailing list sign up sheet by the checkout area. All it says is “fill out to recieve coupons”… That’s it! How easy is that!?
Having a list you can email can boost your profits up very fast if done right. It keep YOU in front of them and depending on how you do your email marketing strategies, you can be viewed as a leader and expert in your niche, which is the way to go!
There are strategies on how to use your email to keep and continue to grow a list, which we will get into later. But for now, I want you to take a moment and think about:
- How can I start generating a list at my business?
- What can I offer them to get them to fill out their info? (Coupons, discounts, free pen, etc.)
- What is the best way for me to display this? (pen and paper, sign them up on the computer right then and there, etc.)
Once you have that figured out you will be ready to move on to part 2.
