If you start to look at statistics like how Youtube is in the second largest search engine today and how there are over 200 million users on Facebook, wouldn’t you want to have access to those kinds of numbers??
Now let me say this, just because you have an account with Youtube or Facebook does NOT mean you will have in boost in profits. There are specific strategies that need to be implemented in order to start to see more sales.

2.    More People Are Shopping Online.

I recently gave the example on one of our Main Street Marketing calls, where I had a discussion with a business owner that I had been buying Airsoft bb’s from. (I love playing Airsoft!) Well, last time I went in to buy some, he told me they weren’t carrying them anymore because the Internet had killed their business. They just couldn’t compete with the Internet’s prices.

Now I’m all about supporting local businesses, but this does prove a point that not everyone is about that. People are selfish and want what is the quickest, easiest and cheapest. So more are going to the Internet to buy.
Amazon is another good example…
I recently went into a Borders book store to check out a newly released book called Crush It, by Gary Vaynerchuk .

Well, they didn’t have it in stock and they wanted $20 for it. I went on Amazon and found it for $10.00.

So my question for you is, as millions of people are buying stuff online, will they be buying from you?
