There seems to be some misunderstanding when it comes to using Twitter, especially when it comes to using Twitter for your business. It seems that Online Business Owners have a pretty good understanding, but storefront owners are still a little confused.
So if you are a storefront business owner, we are going to cover why you should be using Twitter to grow your business…

I remember when Twitter first came out, I thought it was stupid and a waste of time, but I soon learned I was very wrong. Done the right way, Twitter can become a powerful tool to:

- Grow your business.

- Connect with like-minded people.

-Build a following of loyal followers.

- Brand YOU and/or your business.

- Get traffic to your store and/or your web site.

- And more!

But, if done incorrectly, Twitter can become a waste of time and ruin your brand. But before we get into Twitter Marketing Strategies, I want to make sure you understand WHY you should use Twitter.

Twitter is known as a micro-blogging platform and is a way to post what you are doing, your thoughts, questions, a cool web site you found, etc. in a 140 characters or less. You are able to “follow” people and they are able to follow you. The goal here is to generate a following of people who are interested in your Niche and to be viewed as an “authority” in that Niche.

The thing about Twitter is, there are conversations going all the time and there is Twitter etiquette which we will get into later as well.

I can honestly say that I have been able to connect with different people on Twitter that I would have normally never been able to.

As a business owner there are a few things you need to think about before setting up an account. First, is what do you want /need to brand? Are you branding YOU? Or are you branding your business name? For example, I chose to brand me with my main Twitter account. So I chose Paul Cooley, so my Twitter URL looks like: http://Twitter.com/PaulCooley. See what I mean? When you create a Twitter account you will need to decide what name you should go with.

If Twitter still isn’t making a lot of sense, we have posted a video to help you understand the basics of why you should use Twitter. (See right of page>>)

The main thing right now is, you don’t have to understand the whole concept right away. You will… The main thing right now is to get start your account and get your name before someone else does!

As we continue, we are going to help you not only understand how to use Twitter, but we are going to show you how to maximize its full potential. If you are a member of SureFire Business Strategies Training Course, you will be getting some amazing Twitter Strategies that many don’t know about.

Before I end, if you think Twitter is a waste of time as a storefront owner, check out this Coffee Shop that boosted their profits but using Twitter.

Keep moving forward to profits!
