The Problem
So many businesses seem to be closing their doors and most blame it all on the recession. But what if that’s not entirely true? Did you know….
As small business owners we know how hard things can get and how much added stress is on us. Did you know that 80% of divorces are caused by financial stress? That’s crazy!
Trying to get people to come in the doors can be hard enough, and then trying to get them to buy something may seem near impossible!
When stress start building up on us due to bills, dealing with employees that don’t care about their job, customer service and more bills, it can take such a tole on us that our business starts slipping through our fingers.
That’s when we see more doors close. I remember when the pressure was on like never before. My wife and I owned a local coffee shop that was struggling to get by and I was trying to get my Internet Business off the ground. In the mean time, cars where breaking, bills where getting stacked up, had employees that didn’t really care about the business, dealing with crazy customers, had different organizations, Churches and friends coming against us and we were about to have a baby!
To say the least, I was faced with a very large giant that I could either face head on or I could run away in shame and defeat. Well, failure has never been an option with me, even in those moments of true despair, I knew I was doing all the right things and it just had to work. I knew I needed to find the missing puzzle piece to my business model.
Well because I know what it’s like to do all the right things and still not get where you thought you would be, I would like to say there is hope! It’s time for you to find your missing puzzle piece and revamp your business model. As times change and the economy does its thing, you need to be willing to change your business that will maximize your income.
